Founded in 2014 by husband-and-wife team Gary and Fiona, Inspiral Cycles takes pride in its independent local bike shop identity.
We’re all about the experience of riding a bike and the joy that cycling should deliver to all cyclists; we’re focused on the customer first – not the bike.
Our amazing staff’s combined 100+ years of bike tech knowledge means our Cytech qualified mechanics check in every bike repair personally. We discover exactly what the rider wants, needs and can afford before only charging for the time it takes to make the high standard of service.

Our strength has come from partnering with local community projects and charities including Hamsterley Trailblazers and The Auckland Project, regenerating our trails and town centre. We’re passionate about our sustainability, recycling and eco-credentials and are eagerly awaiting our solar panels!
